How I work
You won't see any "scripts" in my workshops or one-to-one sessions. I won't tell you what to do either. Your children know what they need from you and I will guide you and support you in discovering what that is and how to balance their needs and your needs.
Based on Montessori and mental wellbeing.

As a Montessori-inspired parent coach focused on child development and neuroscience, I can offer guidance to help you observe your child, understand their development, and strengthen your bond in a neurodiversity-positive way.
Sessions will be a mix of 3 parts:

Part one: All about you!
Supporting you and giving you warmth, understanding and connection.
You can't pour from an empty cup but it's very rare that parents have anyone pouring into their cup. Self-care is amazing but sometimes what we need is for someone to hold us and see us.

Part two: All about you-at home!

I'll be guiding you in how to support Your own Nervous System
To help you become the parent you aspire to be, we'll cover:
-
Stress management techniques for parents
-
Mindfulness practices to enhance presence with your child
-
Self-care strategies to maintain your emotional well-being
This will include EFT, breathing exercises and vagus nerve exercises.

Part three: All about your child:

Learning about Observation and Child Development
Observing your child is a key aspect of the Montessori approach. I can show you how to:
-
Notice your child's interests and sensitive periods
-
Recognize signs of developmental milestones
-
Understand your child's unique learning style

Neurodiversity-Positive Approach

By combining these elements, our sessions will provide you with the knowledge, tools, and support to observe and understand your child's development, foster a strong attachment, and create a nurturing environment that celebrates your child. This approach will not only benefit your child but also empower you as a parent, leading to a more harmonious and fulfilling family life.
